Govt forms three-member committee to liaise with political parties

ISLAMABAD: The government on Sunday formed a three-member committee to liaise with political parties over the country’s political situation, DawnNews reported.

Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique, Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal and Special Assistant to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on National Affairs Irfan Siddique have been included in the committee.

In this regard, the committee has contacted the Awami National Party (ANP) to request a meeting.

Senator Zahid Khan confirmed that Rafique had established contact with ANP Senator Haji Adeel to seek input over issues of national importance.

A funny idea to include KH SAAD in consultancy committee while he is thought as being watch dog for the party who would like to tear up the opponents while talking to mediamen.

Why Saad Rafique. He is controversial and will be biased in any negotiations due to his personal stakes (seat) in line.

PTI do not like SAAD being from lower middle class and calls spade a spade. Where is he controversial because he shows mirror to PTI wallas.He stays in contact with his constituency.

Initiative is good, member selection (baring Ahsan Iqbal) is poor. No comments on Mr. Irfan Siddiqui as everybody knows about this guy. On the very same page where this news is published, Khawaja Saad Rafique in a separate note bashing Imran Khan. Apart from this we all know of his verbal diarrhea's in the past. So much for the intention being compromised by capability.

Instead of trying to save the government by forming face saving committees, Nawaz Sharif should thing starting work for the welfare of people, Govt. will itself be saved. Peoples are killed, Airports are attached, inflation is going out of control, and corruption is spreading everywhere. Mr. Prime minister hurry up before it become very late.
