Khasadar killed in Mohmand

KHAR/GHALANAI: A Khasadar man was killed and five Levies personnel were injured in two separate bomb attacks in Mohmand and Bajaur tribal regions on Sunday.

In Bajaur, five Levies Force personnel and a woman were injured in a roadside bomb blast while in Mohmand, a Khasadar man was killed and an FC man and two civilians were injured.

Bajaur Assistant Political Agent told Dawn that when a vehicle carrying Levies personnel from Khar to Nawagai reached near Rashakai, a remote-controlled bomb planted by militants went off.

Five Levies personnel and a woman were injured.

Our Correspondent adds from Mohmand Agency:

A Khasadar man was killed and three people, including an FC man, were injured in a roadside bomb blast in Chamarkand lower area of Mohmand. An improvised explosive device exploded when the Khasadar and FC personnel were removing IEDs and landmines from the road.
