MIRPURKHAS: A villager was seriously wounded while resisting a robbery in his house in Khursheed Jatt village near Bair Mori, along Mirpurkhas-Mirwah Gorchani Road late on Tuesday night. Shahzad Jatt and his family members woke up when three armed men barged into their house. Mr Jatt tried to grab one of them upon which the intruders opened fire and fled the house.
The victim was taken to the Mirpurkhas Civil Hospital in a serious condition and admitted to the surgical ward.
