LAHORE: Askari Bank Limited (AKBL) has partnered with Atlas Honda Limited (AHL) by signing a memorandum of understanding for the launch of the Riba Free Motorbikes Ijarah Facility to cater to the salaried employees.

“This initiative by Askari Bank and Atlas Honda aims to explore the untapped motorbike leasing segment by offering highly attractive financing terms to salaried class in accordance with the Shariah guidelines,” said a release issued on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Syed Majeedullah Husaini, Askari Bank’s President and CEO said: “We are immensely pleased to be entering into a strategic alliance with Atlas Honda to facilitate the salaried class of Pakistan.”

Saquib H. Shirazi, CEO of Atlas Honda Limited, said: “This MoU reflects the outstanding contribution of both the teams. This step demonstrates our positive approach to identify and stay at the forefront of consumer trends driving the industry and we will continue to do the same. Importantly, this partnership provides our consumers with a convenient way to enjoy the motorcycle they love on easy installments.”
