Another PML-N lawmaker disqualified over fake degree

ISLAMABAD: MPA Sardar Muhammad Khan Jatoi of the ruling Pakistan Muslim - Nawaz (PML-N), who belongs to Muzaffargarh's PP-259 constituency, was disqualified on Tuesday for possessing a fake degree, DawnNews reported.

Sardar Samiullah Khan had filed a plea with the election tribunal against MPA Sardar Muhammad Khan Jatoi.

PML-N candidate Khan Mohammad Jatoi had got 44,460 votes in the 2013 general elections votes defeating then Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) candidate Samiullah who bagged 40,348 votes.

Earlier last week, an election tribunal had disqualified Aijaz Chaudhry, an MNA from the PML-N belonging to NA-108 (Mandi Bahauddin), for possessing a bogus academic degree.
