Stepson of ex-governor held for murder

KARACHI: A man said to be a stepson of Zulfiqar Magsi, former governor of Balochistan, was arrested on Friday on charges of killing a security guard during a scuffle at a cinema in the Defence Housing Authority.

The scuffle broke out at around 3am and resulted in the murder of Asif Aziz, 35.

“Darakshan police have registered a murder case against Fabiyan, stepson of ex-governor, Balochistan, Zulfiqar Magsi,” South Karachi SSP Nasir Aftab said.

Police said an FIR had been lodged on the complaint of the victim’s brother Mohammed Asim under Sections 302 (murder) and 427/34 against Fabiyan, Aurangzeb Mehmood and Asfar Shah, a guard of the cinema.

Nothing will probably happen to him. PMLN is only interested in convicting Musharaf. Relatives of corrupt politicians are free to do what they want. Remember this is Pakistan owned by corrupt parties.

Yeah sure he will get justice.. This poor security guard's family will be threatened, bribed, and will be done everything imaginable to, to have the spoiled brat off the hook. The Karachiites can not forget that even the son of a Police Officer, Shahzeb was killed on the streets of Karachi and his family had no choice but to forgive (after allegedly being forced to accept blood money) and flee the country. Pakistan is a classic case of 'Paisa Pheik, Tamasha Dekh'
