KARACHI: The 12th National Women Netball Championship will be held at the Hyderabad Club from Dec 30 to Jan 1 under the auspices of Pakistan Netball Federation and Sindh Netball Association which are jointly organising the event in collaboration with the Sindh Olympic Association.

Army, Navy, Air Force, Police, Wapda, Railways, HEC, Sindh, Balochistan, KP, Punjab, Islamabad, Fata and AJK will be participating in the event.

Army are the defending champions.

President of the Pakistan Netball Federation (PNF) retired Capt Zafar Iqbal Awan announced the names of members of the rules and technical committee which includes Abdul Razzak Arain (chairman) besides Nadia Begum, Tauqeer Ahmed, Ajaz-ul-Haque, Mohammad Rizwan, Zile Erum and Mudassar Arain.—Agencies
