KARACHI: Malik Amir Mohammad Khan, Governor of West Pakistan, said that agriculturists would benefit a lot if through the national languages scientific knowledge is imparted to the agriculturists.

The Governor, in a message to the Scientific Society of Pakistan on the occasion of the fifth annual Science Conference, said that the propagation of modern science “through our national languages” by society was a laudable one.

Mr Mohammad Anwar, Speaker, Provincial Assembly of East Pakistan, said that the acquisition of scientific knowledge is of vital importance in this atomic age and its propagation through national languages will go a long way in imparting such knowledge to more and more Pakistanis.

It is gratifying, he said, that the society enjoys the patronage of eminent scientists of the country and it can be hoped that with their sustained efforts, useful books on science will be available in our national languages in the near future. — Staff Correspondent
