ISLAMABAD, Nov 5: Prime Minister of Kuwait Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah will visit Pakistan on the invitation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif from Nov 10 to 12 to further strengthen close and cordial relations between the two countries, according to sources.

During his visit, the Kuwaiti premier will lead a high-level delegation, including ministers, top government officials, businessmen and media personnel. The visit will be extremely important because it will be a top Kuwaiti leader’s first trip to Pakistan in seven years.

It will give a new impetus to the existing cordial bilateral relations and provide a good opportunity to reinvigorate efforts aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two countries in diverse fields.

Kuwait hosts a large Pakistani community, which is making positive contribution to the development of Kuwait and is sending remittances supporting Pakistan’s economy as well.

Several agreements are expected to be signed during the visit, the sources said.—APP
