LAHORE, Sept 17: Ghaziabad police registered a case against its own SHO, three constables and a police tout for allegedly confining an 18-year-old youth at a private torture cell in Harbanspura and subjecting him to torture.

The capital city police chief also suspended SHO Malik Khalid and three constables after an inquiry held by Cantonment SP (Operations) Umer Riaz held the four guilty.

Police arrested tout Rana Javed and recovered detainee Ali Raza of Manzoor Colony, Ghaziabad.

Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif took notice of the case and sought detailed report from the Punjab police chief.
