THERE has been a long debate for restructuring of the UN in order to keep balance of power and equality among nations. It is believed that the US dictates terms to the UN; be it Afghanistan’s invasion or the mythical ‘weapons of mass destruction’ in Iraq.
President Obama’s statement regarding an attack on Syria has alarmed those who are propagating the role of the UN as the international organisation for resolving issues. Mr Obama said the US neither wanted nor would wait for the UN council’s approval.

President Obama has brazenly insulted the world body. The United Nations should take appropriate action against him. A symbolic vote of censure by the UN General Assembly, in the forthcoming session, would go a long way.

with appropos to your comments regarding my letter to editor.
You mentioned that obama must be censured brother first of all he is the head of Superpower of the world such is not a practice in the history of United nations that a President of a super power is censured as far as my knowledge is concerned.
It is only possible if muslim block is on the one side and rest is on other but in reality such is not the case Role of Saudia and Iran is some what is debateble.
We (Muslim) should first of all must be united on one platform sir we are divided on the basis of creeds, sects, caste system which were abolished by Our Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him)
