Finger-licking PM

Published August 9, 2013

IN Pakistan strange, nay, bizarre are the acts of some people no matter where do they belong to. Some time the actions of these people become even shocking when they are spotted doing it right under the full glare of the media. Here is an example of an inappropriate action committed by a person no less than the prime minister of Pakistan.

The electronic media of Pakistan showed the footage of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif chairing the meeting of the Council of Common Interests (CCI) in Islamabad on July 31. During the course of the meeting one saw the prime minister was turning the leaf of his papers after licking his right finger.

The sight of a person having the stature of a prime minister seen licking his finger instead of using a damper for the purpose was just awful for the viewers, if not unbelievable.

So, Mr Prime Minister, please avoid licking your finger in the public.
