LAHORE, May 17: A one-man inquiry tribunal comprising Justice Syed Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi of the Lahore High Court may also visit India to complete the judicial inquiry into the death of Indian prisoner Sarabjit Singh.

The inquiry tribunal through its registrar has invited the public at large to file written submissions, if anyone wants, along with relevant document(s), accompanied by a copy of CNIC within seven days.

The persons within India are required to get themselves registered with the tribunal at official URL http://mail.punjab.gov.pk at email address: “registrartribunalss@lhc.gov.pk”.

The tribunal will commence its inquiry proceedings at the Principal Seat of the LHC (Court Room No 9) as well as at Kot Lakhpat Jail, Lahore, from the date to be notified later.

Riaz Ahmad, personal staff officer to the tribunal, would be focal person to issue official statements before the media regarding the inquiry.

All state functionaries have been directed to render full assistance and cooperation to the tribunal and its authorised officers in the performance of their functions.
