Murder FIR lodged

UMERKOT, Nov 16: A former police officer, Shadi Khan Khoso, on Friday lodged an FIR at the Umerkot police station regarding murder of a 50-year-old woman, Zulekha Khoso, claiming that she was kidnapped in Khosa Muhalla of Umerkot some nine days ago and taken to Karachi before being tortured to death.

The woman was found dead within the remit of Quaidabad police station in Karachi.

The complainant Shadi Khan Khoso, who is a former SHO and cousin of the deceased, nominated Azhar Machhi, Nadir Machhi and an unidentified person in the case alleging that the woman, Zulekhan, wife of Khalid Hussain Khoso, an employee of taluka municipal administration, Umerkot, was kidnapped and deprived of her gold and silver by the suspects. —BoC
