KARACHI, Feb 11: A young Baloch man was whisked away by unidentified armed men near the Hub Chowki area, his family members said. They said that the armed men whisked away 25-year-old Abid Ali Bashir between Tuesday and Wednesday night when he along with other family members was coming to Karachi in a private vehicle from Pasni.

They said when they reached Babb-i-Balochistan roundabout in Hub Chowki the armed men stopped their vehicle and whisked away the young man. The family tried to lodge an FIR at the area police station, but they refused to entertain their request.

The relatives made an appeal to higher authorities for the recovery of the youth fearing that his “life is in danger”.
