LAHORE, Nov 29: A 17-year-old youth was shot dead by three armed men over a property dispute in Nishtar Colony on Monday.

Reports said Safdar, a resident of Dalu Kalan, had differences with locals Saleem, Waseem and Manshah over the ownership of a plot.

On Monday, the two parties exchanged hot words over the issue. Saleem and his accomplices opened fire as a result of which Safdar’s son Imran received multiple injuries and was rushed to General Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead. The assailants fled the scene.

The police shifted the body to the city morgue for autopsy and registered a case against the three suspects on the complaint of Safdar with no arrest so far.

The police handed over the body to her parents without autopsy.

NH&MP: National Highways and Motorways Police officials on Monday found a handbag containing gold jewellery and other valuables worth Rs300,000 from a road and handed it over to the owner.
