JACOBABAD, Jan 3: Two men were killed and six suffered injuries in a clash between Sabzoi and Sawand tribesmen over an old dispute in Jan Mohammad Sawand and Rakhia Sabzoi villages in the limits of Gablo police station near Kandhkot on Friday.

Reports reaching here said that Sawand tribesmen were going to their village when they came under attack by Sabzois. In the ensuing exchange of fire, which continued for several hours Mir Mohammad Sabzoi and Adam Chachar were killed while Ms Dhana, Ghulam Qadir, Dost Mohammad Majid, Tariq and Ali Murad were injured.

According to are people, the clash so far claimed at least 25 lives. Police have not lodged any FIR till the filing of this report.

The villagers of Badal Sabzio held a demonstration against police in front of district court, where they reached in pick-ups carrying body of Mir Mohammad.
