He was wanted by the FIA for the last four years in several cases of human trafficking.

The agency said Zaka was scheduled to fly to Doha through Qatar Airline from where he had to fly to Madrid-Spain, when the FIA arrested him on Tuesday.

Zaka’s accomplice Amanullah alias Mithu managed his escape. Amanullah was also wanted by FIA in several human smuggling cases. Zakaullah has been sent behind the bars. Further investigation is under way.

Protest: Scores of people on Wednesday staged a protest against the killing of local trader Muhammad Shafiq by some unidentified accused in Model Town, Uggoki.

Uggoki police have registered a case and shifted the body to Govt Allama Iqbal Memorial DHQ Hospital for autopsy.

Police have started investigation with no arrest in this regard.
