KARACHI, Nov 5: Four ships scheduled to load/offload containers, palm oil and chemicals were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, five more ships to load/offload containers, cement, LPG and palm oil also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Eight ships, Maersk Danang, Inori, Sari, Karavador, KoloGep, Sinar Susan, Qem Star and Jorita, were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement, wheat, palm oil, chemicals and iron ore.

A cargo volume of 75,527 tons comprising 60,038 tons of import and 15,489 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Word Pride, AI-Soar-II, Ginga Lanner, Maersk Danang, Inori Qem Star sailed out while Sinar Susan was due to depart.
