MIRPURKHAS, Oct 3: Eidul Fitr was celebrated across Sindh amid tight security arrangements. However, at least three people were killed and 21 others including four minor children were injured in separate incidents in different parts of the province.

As the announcement of the sighting of Shawwal’s moon was made on Tuesday evening, youths started riding their bikes without caring for the speed limits and also started performing stunts like doing a wheelie —a stunt performed on one wheel—which resulted into accidents injuring around 17 motorcyclists.Besides, four minor children Kamal, Muneeb, Dawood, and Zarwali were injured by dog biting. They were taken to the Civil Hospital.

Three friends were crushed to death by a fast-moving bus on Eid day in the Bhitai Nagar area of Hyderabad.

They were identified as Khalil Ahmed, Sohail Ahmed, and Rizwan Ahmed. They were residents of Unit-12 Latifabad. They received serious injuries and were shifted to the Civil Hospital where they were pronounced dead.

Police have impounded the bus and arrested the driver.
