KARACHI, Oct 3: Three men have been killed in different parts of the city over the Eid holiday.

A young man was shot dead outside his residence in Hasanabad on Wednesday.

Sohrab Goth police said that 32-year-old Kashif was killed by unidentified persons riding on motorcycles.

The body was later shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for legal formalities.

The victim was an employee of a private organisation, police said, adding that the murder appeared to be motivated by some personal feud.

A case has been registered against unknown suspects at the Sohrab Goth police station. Investigation is under way.

In Manghopir, a young man was killed when a pistol his brother was checking accidentally went off, police said.

Mohammad Azeem, 23, was sitting along with his brother, Amjad, at a hotel in Umar Goth where their friend, Saeed Pathan, came. He had a pistol which Amjad picked up to see. However, it accidentally went off killing Azeem on the spot, police said.

In the jurisdiction of Shah Latif police station, a young man was shot dead in the small hours of Friday.

The victim, who remained unidentified, was shot at near Al Syed Centre. He was taken to the JPMC, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
