KARACHI: S.M.A. Khairi passes away
KARACHI, Sept 3: Former ambassador S.M.A. Khairi passed away on Tuesday evening. A gold medallist from Aligarh University, Mr Khairi had done his MA from the Fletchers School of Law and Diplomacy, US. He joined the Pakistan foreign service in 1954 and served as consul-general in Dubai and ambassador to Brazil and Canada in his 36-year career.
Mr Khairi leaves a wife and three children.
