PESHAWAR, Sept 1: Body of an unidentified young man was recovered from a dry water channel here at Mattani area.

An official at the concerned Mathani police station told Dawn that the body of the man sporting a small beard was found at Janae Khwar area.

Some locals said that a chit was placed near the body carrying the message that he was an Indian spy and the other spies would face the same fate.

However, the police refuted the claim stating that no chit was found near the body.
