KARACHI, Aug 21: Four ships carrying rock phosphate, crude oil and containers are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where six vessels including Armis, Loa, APL Cairo, Y.M. Increment to unload and load containers, Sea Princess to load cement and Holman to offload aviation gas were berthed after the departure of as many.

The departing ships were led by Atlantia, Yossa Bhum, Armis, APL Shenzhen, APL Cairo and Cape Negro, while Y.M. Increment, Loa and Holman are due to sail out on Friday.

A total tonnage of 149,000 tons comprising 23,955 tons of export cargo and 125,000 tons of import tonnage was handled on Thursday.

The following ships are due on Friday: Johar with crude oil, Jakarta Express, Oel Ability with containers and Sanie with 6,600 tons of phosphate.
