KARACHI, Aug 16: Six ships carrying containers and to load molasses and ethanol are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Sunday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where eight ships, Ashraf-B to load cement, Gulf Bridge, Mol Affinity, King Brian and Kota Kenari to unload and load containers, Saga Navigator to offload general cargo, Gulf Tiger and Oriental Protea, oil tankers, were berthed.

Cap Colorado, Sima Sehba, Francisea Schulte, Handy Tankers Spirit and Lucky Arrow departed on Saturday, while Bunga Kenari, Avenir, Mol Affinity, Gulf Tiger, King Brian, Thuringia Express, Jaikur-2 and Adiratic Arrow are due to sail out on Sunday.

A total tonnage of 93,620 tons comprising 21,854 tons of export cargo and 71,766 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Sunday: Cerigo with crude oil, Sapphire–T to load molasses, Keoyoung Prince to load ethanol, Harmony, Seven Seas Aurora, China Star and Hanjin Chittagon with containers.
