KARACHI, Aug 9: Eight ships including three cement loaders are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Sunday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where four ships, Sea Bloom to load cement, Kota Pardana, Soon Fu and Calvin P. Titus to unload and load containers were berthed after the departure of four on Saturday.

The departing ships were led by Limari, Soon Fu, Vinalines Saigon and D.L. Violet, while Shaheen Al Ghanum-10, Valiant, Quetta, Flag Investors, Crystal Seas, Hyundai Duke and Patriach are due to sail out on Sunday.

A cargo volume of 120,000 tons comprising 45,008 tons of export and 75,882 tons of import cargo was handled.

The following ships are due on Sunday: Ashraf-B, Pacific Arrow and Salina to load cement, Song Shan to offload general cargo, Northern Highway, Mitra Bhum and Oel Trust with containers and Lalazar with crude oil.
