Tennis referees course from today


KARACHI, July 3: Subh-e-Nau will hold a three-day umpires’ training course here starting on Friday at the CDGK tennis complex on Kashmir Road.

The aim behind holding the course from July 4-6 is to expand the base of technical officials add new technical officials to overcome the shortage of technical officials and to promote the game in Pakistan.

It may be mentioned here that the Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) awarded associate membership to Subh-e-Nau, an NGO, in recognition of its services for the promotion of tennis.

All those interested in attending the course are advised to reach CDGK complex on Friday at 3.30pm where they would be registered for the same.

Shahzad Akhtar Alvi, an ITF White badge umpire, will be holding the referees courses.
