KARACHI, July 3: The examinations department of the University of Karachi on Thursday announced the results of BA part-I annual examinations 2007.

According to the statistics, as many as 8,598 candidates appeared in the exams of which 1,863 were declared successful. The overall pass percentage remained at 21.67.

BEd suppl exam results

The examinations department of the Karachi University also announced the results of BEd (morning) supplementary examination 2007.

According to the statistics, as many as 238 candidates appeared in the examination and none of them managed to secure A+ grade. However, 15 cleared the exams with A grade, 116 got B and 29 managed to secure C grade. The pass percentage remained at 67.22.

Urdu varsity

The Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST) has asked BA, Bcom and MA external candidates, who have not yet received their admit cards, to approach the examinations department.—PPI
