UPPER DIR, June 3: Five members of a family and their driver were killed when their car plunged into a river in Upper Dir on Monday night. The car was going to Usherai from Timergara when it swerved and fell into the Pangkora river near Gorgoru in Wari tehsil.

All people in the car drowned.

Police said the bodies of Toti Rehman (driver), Baa Rehman, and Sabira Hilal had been found near Khall, about 25 kilometres away from the place of the accident, while those of six-month-old Shabana, Noor Rehman and Akhtar Zamena, were missing.
