KARACHI, May 9: Three ships scheduled to load/offload containers, cement and palm oil were berthed during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Friday.

Meanwhile, another container ship also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Eight ships, CMA CGM Eiffel, Dubai, Bernice, Kestrel-I, Industrial Bride, Transport, Barcelona Bright and Sea Sky, were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement, wheat, seeds, general cargo, palm oil, iron ore and furnace oil.

A cargo volume of 89,144 tons comprising 73,654 tons of import and 15,490 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Leopard-B, Industrial Bride, CMA CGM Eiffel and Sea Sky sailed out while Dubai was expected to leave the port.
