Businessmen to get British visa on priority basis

By A Reporter

RAWALPINDI, April 28: An agreement with an objective to facilitate issuing of visas to the business community was signed between the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) and the British High Commission here on Monday.

Under the agreement called Trusted Partner Agreement, the high commission and the chamber working as trusted partners would cooperate in granting the visas to businessmen on priority basis, said a press release issued by the RCCI.

The agreement also provides for longer-term premium visas to all members on the recommendation of the chamber but subject to meeting the immigration requirements.

Acting President of RCCI Sheikh Hafeez Ahmad and Ian Dinsdale, entry clearance manager of the High Commission, signed the agreement on the behalf of their respective sides.
