KHAIRPUR, April 22: Local leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-F on Tuesday termed police raid on the house of party supporter Murtaza Shah Rashidi two days ago political victimisation and demanded judicial inquiry into the police action.

PML-F MPA Nusrat Sehar Abbasi and nazim of Hadal Shah union council Syed Mubarak Shah Rashidi said at a press conference in Hadal Shah town that police trespassed Murtaza’s house, manhandled women and children and took away valuables and 20 buffalos.

They said that later they returned 16 buffalos but four were still with the police. They said they had no confidence in the inquiry team led by TPO of Pir Jo Goth Liaquat Abbasi.

WOMAN DIES: Murad Khatoon, whom her husband, Mohammad Baqar Samtio, injured seriously after axing their minor daughter and son to death in Bhoombhatpur village in the evening on Monday, died in a Sukkur hospital late into the night.

SHO of Sobhodero said that the bodies were handed over to Haji Lal Bux Samtio, the father of the deceased woman, after post-mortem, which was carried out at Ranipur Rural Health Centre.
