Nisar wins cycle race
LAHORE, April 21: Nisar Ahmad of Balochistan won the Peshawar-Rawalpindi cycle race, according to the information provided by the Pakistan Cycling Federation on Monday.Nisar covered the distance of 160 kilometres in four hours, nine minutes and 11 seconds with an average speed of 40 kilometres per hour.
The success earned him a cash prize of Rs25,000.
NWFP’s Sabir Hussain clinched second position and pocked Rs17,500 whereas Wapda’s Malik Bashir was third and received Rs12,500.—APP
