Hunger strike enters 5th day

LARKANA, April 12: Token hunger strike by activists of Pakistan People’s Party-Shaheed Bhutto in protest against the acquittal of Asif Ali Zardari in Mir Murtaza Bhutto murder case entered the fifth consecutive day on Saturday.

The strikers said that the court had exonerated the chief accused of charges but the PPP-SB workers would never forgive him and continue to fight against the decision.

PROCESSION: A large number of people from Garibabad locality of Qambar town staged a procession on Saturday in protest against delay in replacement of a transformer that went out of order 10 days ago.
