26 kiln workers freed

HYDERABAD, April 11: Justice Abdul Rehman Faruq Pirzada of the Sindh High Court on Friday set at liberty 26 workers who had been detained allegedly by the owner of a brick kiln. The judge directed police to provide protection to the workers.

The workers had been produced by the SHO of the Khipro police station before the judge hearing a petition filed by one Bhutto. The kiln owner, Gul Mir, told the court that he had brought the workers from a brick kiln of one Sarwar Pathan after making a payment of Rs390,560 for their services.

The court asked the kiln owner to seek legal course for recovering his money from Sarwar Pathan.—Bureau
