Sindh golfers leave for Peshawar

KARACHI, April 8: Around a dozen golfers from Sindh leave for Peshawar on Wednesday to take part in the Chief of Air Staff golf championship starting from Friday.

Sindh’s top professional Sajid Khan is leading the contingent which also includes Ali Sher, Ayaz Gul, Mohsin Khan, Mohammad Ashraf, the Sindh Golf Association announced on Tuesday.

After participating in the Peshawar event, the squad will fly to Islamabad to feature in the Amateur golf championship to be held at the Islamabad Golf Club from April 17 to

20.

Besides top players from Pakistan, golfers from Bangladesh, India and Sri Lanka will participate in the event.—APP
