Sacked cop commits suicide

HYDERABAD, April 7: A sacked railway policeman committed suicide in his quarter in Site area here Monday. Dilbar Khan son of Gul Zaman Khan was in his late 40s who was terminated as railway police constable. He was living with his family in Junejo colony Site area.

His wife had left him due to domestic disputes a long time ago. Until his death he was dependent on his younger brother, who used to assist him financially. He hanged himself in the house. Area people informed police after the body started decomposing.

His younger brother told police that when deceased demanded money he told him to get it from his wife. That was the last occasion when he visited his family. Deceased’s wife was living in Hazara district with her children.—Correspondent
