NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, April 1: A large number of people belonging to Pirzado tribe staged a rally and a demonstration here on Tuesday in protest against the taluka mukhtiarkar of Mehrabpur.

They complained that suspended revenue mukhtiarkar of Mehrabpur Sahib Khan Lund transferred a house, which was their joint property, to their cousin’s name after receiving Rs30,000 bribe.

They said they had sent written complaints to higher authorities and warned that if the mukhtiarkar did not cancel the transfer they would commit collective self-immolation against the injustice.
