Indian plan for wargames with China unchanged

NEW DELHI, March 24: India plans to go ahead with fresh military manoeuvres with China, officials said on Monday.

The two neighbours held their first-ever joint war games in China’s Yunnan province last December, with 200 Indian and Chinese troops engaged in anti-terrorism drills.

Indian defence ministry officials, who did not want to be named, confirmed that negotiations with China were on “to engage the two air forces in a joint drill” in Indian skies.—AFP
