ISLAMABAD, March 20: Three International Cricket Council (ICC) officials will visit the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Saturday to inspect security situation and other facilities concerned for the Champions Trophy due to be hosted by Pakistan later this year.

Andy Atkinson, Samiul Hasan and another official are the members of the ICC inspection team.

The team will review the security arrangements in and around the Rawalpindi Stadium, one of the Champions Trophy venues, as the city has been the target of terrorist incidents.

The ICC officials were due to reach Pakistan November last year but cancelled their tour because of the imposition of emergency in the country.—A Sports Reporter
