KARACHI, March 18: The Pakistan Table Tennis Federation (PTTF) on Tuesday granted affiliation to Pakistan Army and Higher Education Commission (HEC) raising strength of its units from eight to ten.

The newly inducted units have got the playing rights for the last couple of years.

The other eight affiliated units include four provinces, Islamabad, Habib Bank, Wapda and Railways. The decision was taken at the executive committee/general body meeting of the PTTF which met in the city with its president, S.M. Sibtain, in the chair.

In addition, it also approved minutes of the last meeting, annual calendar, accounts, appointment of auditor, etc.

The meeting was attended among others by vice-president Khalid Mirza, secretary Miftah Ismail, treasurer Kifayatullah, senior associate secretary Hafeezullah, associate secretary Saleem Ahmed, members Javed Chotani, Ataullah, a lady delegate from Balochistan, representatives of Habib Bank and Railways.
