KARACHI, March 17: Two ships to load/offload containers and chemicals were berthed during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Monday.

Meanwhile, three more ships carrying containers, wheat and furnace oil also arrived at outer anchorage.

Seven ships, Darford, CMA CGM Agean, Leopard-B, Atlantic, Yasa Pembe, Yanaseni and Al-Soor-II, were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement, canola seeds, chemicals and diesel oil.

A cargo volume of 84,015 tons comprising 52,371 tons of import and 31,644 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Al-Soor-II and CMA CGM Aegean sailed out while Dart Ford was due to depart.
