KARACHI, March 6: Six ships carrying containers, palm oil, diesel oil, chemicals and coke were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Thursday.

Meanwhile, another ship with wheat also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Seven vessels, ACX Tsubaki, Maersk Davo, Star Gamma, Karavados, Princess Natalie, Al-Soor-II and Qem Star, were busy in loading and unloading various commodities.

A cargo volume of 140,007 tons comprising 111,183 tons of import and 28,824 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Qem Star, ACX Tsubaki, Star Gamma left the port while Al-Soor-II and Maersk Davao were due to depart.
