KARACHI, March 3: Karachi Intermediate Board (KIB) have qualified for zonal final of the Pakistan Inter-board Cricket Championship after beating Bahawalpur Board by four wickets in Multan on Monday.
Batting first, Bahawalpur Board collected 176 for nine in 40 overs with Asif (32), Amir Khan (25) and Wasim Abbas (20) the main run-getters.
Talha Shabbir bowled well to claim four wickets for 18 runs.
In reply, KIB achieved the target for the loss of six wickets. Akhtar Fahim led the way with an unbeaten 43. He received good support from Irfan Lodhi (32), Ammar Hussain (26) and Noor Butt (23).
Asif Muzaffar and Ajmal took two wickets each for 24 and 29 runs, respectively.
KIB will face Karachi Secondary Board in the final on Tuesday in Multan.
