19 granted bail

LARKANA, Feb 4: District and sessions judge Larkana granted bail to 19 leaders and activists of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) in a firing case, on Monday.

They activists include Ayaz Soomro district President, Anwar Bhutto General Secretary, and Khursheed Junejo former District Nazim and constituency in-charge of late Benazir Bhutto.

The judge adjourned the proceedings till February 25 with the bail amount of Rs5000 each.

They were booked few days back for allegedly firing on leaders of Sachal Alliance (SA) in Bunguldero while holding a corner meeting.

The case was registered with Ratodero Police by the Alliance leader Mushtaq Jalbani.

Those securing bail said such things can not deter them from politics and resolved to continue the mission of late Benazir Bhutto.—Correspondent
