Trailer halts rail traffic for three hours

By Our Correspondent

SHEIKHUPURA, Feb 3: Rail traffic remained suspended near Narang Mandi from 8am to 11am after a rice-laden trailer broke down on the tracks on Sunday.

The trailer was crossing an unmanned railway crossing when it broke down.

As a result, trains going to Sialkot and Lahore had to stop at various railway stations.

Later, the rail traffic was restored after heavy vehicle lifters reached the scene from Lahore and removed the trailer from the track.
