ISLAMABAD, Jan 30: The United Kingdom is ready to provide support to the Election Commission of Pakistan in holding credible elections.

This was stated by Antony Stokes, head of the South Asia Department of Foreign and Commonwealth Office, during a meeting with EC secretary Kanwar Muhammad Dilshad here on Wednesday. Mr Stokes said the coming elections were important not only for Pakistan but also for the world.—Reporter
