KOHAT, Jan 12: A large number of college students on Saturday blocked the Kohat-Rawalpindi Road to protest against the kidnapping of their two colleagues.

Police said that Tanveer and Sohail were kidnapped on Friday from the Dhodha area but their parents were refusing to lodge FIRs.

The students from the Government Post-Graduate Collge kept the road blocked for half an hour. They opened the road after an assurance from police officials that the victims would be traced soon.

IMPOSTER: Police on Friday arrested an imposter in police uniform near the Officers Training School Road.

The accused, identified as Gul Agha, also carried a fake identity card showing that he was an employee of the police department.

Agha reportedly told an investigation team that he was performing his duties a guard of a candidate for a provisional assembly seat, Shahbaz Gul Shinwari of the Awami National Party. He said he was actually a pick-up driver.

Police have booked Agha under sections 419/420 of PPC and started investigations.
