MITHI, Jan 12: Terming the assassination of Pakistan People’s party chairperson Benazir Bhutto a result of on-going war of civilisations, the former chief minister and president of Pakistan Muslim League-Q Sindh, Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim, said that it does not suit those who are involved in setting ablaze public property, to express their sorrow over the assassination of Ms Bhutto.

Talking to journalists here on Friday, Arbab Ghulam Rahim, said those involved in such destructive activities were moving freely who could not be brought to book.

The former chief minister of Sindh, however said that on the contrary, his party men were threatened with dire consequences, hence he was not satisfied with the steps taken by the government in tackling the said issue.

Responding to a query, the former chief minister said that the contents of advertisements of PML-Q, published in newspapers, did not contain any material to injure the feelings of any circles, however some elements took it in wrong perspectives.

The former chief minister of Sindh Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim said that the crisis of flour, electricity and gas have risen, when he is not at the helm of affairs of Sindh, however, had he been still there, neither such crisis would have emerged nor law and order situation deteriorated.
