NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Jan 3: Lawyers boycotted court proceedings in Moro, Kandiaro, Naushahro Feroze, Bhirya and other towns of the district on Thursday and offered fateha for PPP chairperson Benazir Bhutto.

In Moro, lawyers led by president of the taluka bar council, Mir Mohammad Solangi and general-secretary Subhan Ali Zardari condemned raids carried out by law-enforcement personnel not accompanied by any magistrate.

They said that they were not opposing the recovery operation but search without a magistrate was not accepta-ble.

CASES: About 123 FIRs were lodged at different police stations in the district against more than 32,000 people till Thursday.

About 10 FIRs were lodged by Railways authorities for damaging railway property and trains.
